Arthur S. Colsky, M.D., Ph.D. Founder &  Medical Director of Advanced Acne Institute

The Advanced Acne Institute was founded by a Arthur S. Colsky, MD., Ph.D., board certified dermatologist and acne specialist. Dr. Colsky realized early on the lack of resources available for patients suffering with acne on the back. Dr. Colsky founded the Advanced Acne Institute to offer effective solutions for those with back acne.

Dr. Colsky’s background is rooted in scientific studies at Vanderbilt University where he graduated with a degree in Molecular Biology. Dr. Colsky went on the receive his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where he also completed his training in dermatology. Dr. Colsky has played an innovative role at the Advanced Acne Institute, developing novel therapies for controlling acne breakouts. One of Dr. Colsky’s contributions is the innovative acne treatment regimen called Rotational Therapy, the first acne skin care regimen to focus on supporting the fragile skin barrier in acne-prone skin.
